Impact Report
Summary
At FRAY Studio, we have changed our articles of association, the legal document which governs the leadership and operations of the company.
The crucial change is that FRAY Studio is no longer operating purely for the interests of its shareholders; it is now operating for the benefit of stakeholder interest. Stakeholders are any person, group of people or organisation that has a business interest in the company.
One part of this change is that we will be preparing and circulating an impact report, annually, which shall contain a balanced review of the impact the Company’s business has had, in a manner proportional to the size and complexity of the business.
The impact report shall contain such detail as is necessary to enable the members to have an understanding of the way in which the Company has promoted its success for the benefit of its members as a whole and, through its business and operations, sought to have a material positive impact on society and the environment, taken as a whole.
This is the first annual report, maintaining our commitment to stakeholders to monitor and publish our progress.

B-Corp
The management team has submitted the B-Corp Certification Application, which will be reviewed by a B-Impact Analyst in the coming months. Once reviewed, we will provide evidence for our claims and that evidence will be verified independently.
This had a number of impacts upon FRAY’s policies
Policies
We revised all the studio policies to consider the social and environmental effects of each one. We also revised the language to be clear and easy to understand. This impacts all staff at FRAY and improves our guiding principals.
The work also included sharing our recruitment and financial control processes in written form to diversify access to information at FRAY.
Health and Safety
A new health and safety assessment was carried out which extends risk aversion to more scenarios to comply with UK prevention of sexual harassment law as well as ethics-based risks like corruption.
Job Descriptions
We gave all employees personal progression plans to aid in the continued professional development of our team. The Directors also carried out self reflective reviews at the end of 2025.
Training Allowance
Training allowances weren’t communicated effectively enough between management and non-management so we made that clear in this year’s round of reviews. Every person is entitled to use £1,000 per year.
Charitable donations
We’ve made a formal commitment to spend £5,000 per year on charitable causes that addresses systemic barriers and improves conditions across the wider live entertainment industry.
Equipment, software, and facilities updates
A company wide IT audit has started to reassess the suitability of every one’s work equipment.
Environmental and Social Update
Carbon expenditure update
The initial environmental report published in 2025, has a supplementary document attached to it titled ‘ Carbon Management Plan’. This document outlines the carbon monitoring strategy over the coming twelve months, as well as shares the methodology for making the collection of such data manageable.
Review local purchasing progress
We have removed our amazon prime subscription to further our goals of shopping at local suppliers.
